This is the end of the Black Knight’s
quest chain. You can face him again in the Trial of the Champion.
- The Black Knight’s Orders – Use the
Enchanted Bridle on the Dark Knight’s Gryphon on the east side of the tournament grounds at 78, 22. After arriving at the secret camp, loot the Black Knight’s Orders and Stolen Tournament Invitation.
Aspirant
The tournament grounds are located in
the northeast of Icecrown. When you first arrive, the daily quests will not yet be available. Enter the large square tent to the west of the Coliseum to pick up the ‘The Argent Tournament’ from Justicar Mariel Trueheart (70, 23)
Quests beyond this
point require
Champion rank
Depending on your faction, you will
- The Black Knight’s Fall – Mount the
now need to talk to either Arcanist Taelis (Alliance – 76, 19) or Magister Edien Sunhollow (Horde – 76, 24)
horse found at 72, 23 and talk to Squire Cavin at at 71, 23. The Black Knight will appear, he is defeated more easily than regular champions. Note, however, that he will call you to dismount after you knock him off of his Gryphon. Do not dismount when he asks you to, the quest can bug if you do. Simply wait until you get dismounted automatically, and then defeat the Black Knight.
After turning it in, several quests
become available: Mastery of Melee, Mastery of the Charge and Mastery of the Shield-Breaker
You now have a Horde or Alliance
Lance in your inventory. Equip it and leave the tent. You will be able to mount a Quel’dorei Steed (Alliance) or Sunreaver Hawkstrider (Horde) outside.
- The Black Knight’s Curse – Go to the
graveyard east of the tournament grounds at 79, 23 and kill the Cult Assassin present there.
Next, you will need to talk to three
NPC’s on the north side of the tournament grounds at around 73, 19. For all three NPC’s, you need to pick the top dialogue option to finish the ‘advice’ requirement of the quests.
- The Black Knight’s Fate – Go to
Death’s Watch to the west at 61, 23 and kil Doctor Kohler. Loot the orders he drops.
