Duelling Quests
quick, it will not have recharged after the second target dies. When there is a sizable cooldown left on the heal, I usually grab a new mount.
These take place on the tournament
grounds. You challenge ether a Valiant or a Champion NPC (depending on the quest), and must defeat a couple of them to finish the quest. Before challenging the NPC, get your Shields stacked to three charges. After talking to the NPC, it will run off a short distance. Use Charge as soon as you’re in range to do so, and spam the Shield-Breaker ability as you circle around. After this, stay close to the target and use Thrust until the enemy runs away from you again. At this point, use charge again while spamming Shield-Breaker. Refresh your Shields whenever you drop below 3 charges. See this video for a tutorial of this method.
TIP: You can use Thrust during a
Charge. Simply spam it while Charging and you will hit the target as you run through him. As you pass him and circle around, start hitting Shield-Breaker as mentioned above.
Court of Bones
Quests
These take place just north of Icecrown
Citadel. You must kill a number of the various mobs in the area.
- Boneguard Scout – These Gargoyles
fly around the area, and there’s quite a few of them. They will die from two Shield-Breakers, or from one Shield-Breaker and a Thrust. You can only use Thrust on them when you’re very close and they are relatively close to the ground. Some Gargoyles are really low to the ground and can be killed instantly with Charge.
The above is a very safe and reliable
method of finishing this quest. If you wish to take down these champions faster, keep some distance between you and the enemy. Open up with Charge and Shield-Breaker as before, but then stay far enough from the target to use Shield-Breaker a second time. Focus on keeping your distance, using Shield Breaker and Charge whenever possible. If done right, you will kill the enemy before he kills you, but you will usually end the fight at below 50% health. are stationary and can only be found by the large stairs leading up to the citadel at 51, 78. They can only have one charge of Shield up at a time. They are easier to kill
